Former Brisbane State High student, Lucy Ochre has topped her cohort at The University of Queensland (UQ) achieving straight 7s, in Semester 1.
Lucy graduated from BSHS in 2020 and is currently studying a Dual Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)/Bachelor of Mathematics at UQ. She lives on-campus at Cromwell College. Living in a residential college is a family tradition for Lucy, with both her parents and brother attending UQ Colleges.
“My parents inspire me. They have been so supportive and I'm truly grateful for all the opportunities they have given me," says Lucy. Lucy highly recommends Cromwell College to any BSHS students considering Uni studies in Brisbane. Lucy's career goals are to do what makes her happy and have a job that she really loves.
