On Saturday 21 May, two State High teams competed in the finals of one of Australia's biggest business competitions for school students – the QUT Blueshift Competition.
This annual competition is open to students in Year 10, 11 and 12, who compete in teams to develop business solutions for a real company and vie for a $3000 cash prize for their school. This year, 51 teams registered from across the country to brainstorm ideas for client, Compare the Market.
First place was won by Brisbane State High School's Year 12 students, Samuel Zhu and Trish Le. Congratulations!
We had another Year 12 team consisting of Nyna Mathew and Mason Woolley, who also performed exceptionally well in the competition.
