Two Year 11 students from Brisbane State High School have been selected to represent Australia at the Trinbago 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games in August 2023.
Will Heath (Year 11) has been selected in the Under 19 Australian Cycling team. In early April 2023, Will secured his most significant victory so far in his cycling journey, dominating the Oceania U19 Road Race with an impressive 30-second win. This feat earned him the title of Continental Champion at just 16 years old, as a first-year U19 rider.
Hannah Allen (Year 11) has been selected to represent Australia in Swimming. Hannah was selected on the back of her strong performance at the Australian Age Swimming Championships in April 2023.
