Cultural Activities are a valued part of Brisbane State High School and all students are strongly encouraged to become involved.
Brisbane State High School has a vibrant extra-curricular cultural program that offers activities for students seeking to enrich their learning via Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Voice and Technical Crew. Our cultural program enables our students to develop a range of skills specific to their cultural interest. More broadly, it promotes the development of creative and critical thinking, collaboration, resilience, confidence, self-reflection, organisation and communication skills. The cultural extra-curricular activities are managed by highly qualified staff who are dedicated to helping our students reach their potential.
The activities usually take place before or after school and sometimes on weekends. The available activities are explained in more detail on the individual pages.
