The QGSSSA Touch Football season runs from Friday 10 March until Friday 26 May 2023.
Results
Compulsory Registration and Consent
Students are required to complete the school online registration and consent via the school website.
After
completing the online web form, please print the school consent form
for parents to complete and sign, and place this in the tray on the
counter at Room D101 in the Extra-Curricular Office.
Team App for Coaches, Players and Parents
QGSSSA Touch Football are using a smartphone app as the main means of communication
between coaching staff, players and parents.
Team App keeps member contact details private and no members can communicate with each other through the app.

- Sign-up using your name, date of birth and email address. You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration.
- Search for 'BSHS Girls Touch' and request access to the group which applies to you.
- Once your request is approved, you will be able to see news and upcoming events on your device or by checking your emails.
- Please
note that turning on push notifications on the app allows you not to
miss important posts as they are made, however, this can be switched off
at any time.
Levy
Players must pay an annual levy for transport to all fixtures (return for outside metropolitan venues), equipment, referees, coach shirts, coach recognition, administration cost, open playing shirts and trophies. All prior levies are required to be finalised before the commencement of the QGSSSA Touch Football season.

Training
Students must attend 75 per cent of training sessions to be eligible for a pocket.
The 2023 training schedule will be available on Team App when the season commences.
Transport
One-way
charter buses will transport players to all games. It is the
students' responsibility to arrange their own transport home. Return
buses will transport students back to school from St Hilda's School and
Ipswich Girls' Grammar School games.
Uniform
- Players can purchase numbered jerseys and BSHS athletic shorts from the uniform shop. Navy blue school PE shorts may also be worn.
- Players should wear appropriate shoes and socks.
Volunteers
Touch Football is run entirely by volunteers. To help with coaching or match day supervision, please contact the Master in Charge.
End of Season Presentation
An
end of season presentation dinner is held for QGSSSA Touch Football.
Details regarding confirmed venue and ticket availability will be
advised once the season begins. Tickets are sold at the B Block Finance
Counter and must be purchased by the closing date to enable catering
numbers to be finalised. Once ticket sales are closed, no further tickets
will be available for purchase.
