The GPS Chess season is from Friday 18 July until Friday 12 September 2025. Our GPS Chess Squad is open to both boys and girls.
Compulsory Registration and Consent
All trial information for our Extra Curricular programs will be communicated through StudentNet Notices. It is the responsibility of students to regularly check for these updates. Additionally, trial information will be posted on Stack Team App. Please refer to the section below for sign-up instructions.
Consent forms will be issued once team selections have been finalised. Parents/guardians are required to complete the online consent process for their student(s) via QParents prior to participation.
QParents is the online portal at BSHS for all consent requests related to curriculum excursions and extracurricular programs. It is also the platform where you can access student report cards, timetables, and attendance information. If you do not yet have a QParents account, please visit https://qparents.qld.edu.au/#/landing External link. You should have received an invitation code via email upon your student's enrolment. If you cannot locate the invitation, please contact us at qparents@brisbaneshs.eq.edu.au.
Team App for Coaches, Players and Parents
GPS Chess is using a smartphone app as the main means of communication between coaching staff, players and parents/guardians. Team App keeps member contact details private and no members can communicate with each other through the app.
To download, go to https://teamapp.com/app External link
- Sign-up using your name, date of birth and email address. You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration.

- Once your request is approved, you will be able to see news and upcoming BSHS Badminton events on your device or by checking your emails.
- Please note that turning on push notifications on the app allows you not to miss important posts as they are made, however, this can be switched off at any time.
