Mathematics

​​​​​Mathematics at Brisbane State High School provides students with the opportunity to:

• become confident, creative users and communicators of Mathematics;
• be able to investigate, represent and interpret situations in their personal and work lives and as active citizens;
  
• develop an increasingly sophisticated understanding of mathematical concepts and be able to pose and solve problems;
  
• recognise connections between the areas of Mathematics and other disciplines; and
  
• appreciate Mathematics as an accessible and enjoyable discipline to study.

Tutorials

Tutorials are available in each term from Week 2 for:

• ​Year 7 to 9 students: Tuesdays from 8.15am to 8.45am in room D211 and D212
• Year 10 to 12 students: Tuesdays from 8.15am to 8.45am in room D213 and D214
