'A Parent's Guide to Learning at Home' handbook
This handbook (PDF, 1908 KB) contains information to assist State High parents and guardians and their families while we are in an online learning mode.
Attendance / participation
Each morning, students are required to complete the Learning @ Home Daily Check In survey which is available on StudentNet. This is their roll mark for the day.
If your child is unable to attend school or participate in online learning, our usual attendance procedures apply. Parents/guardians will need to inform the school to notify us of the reasons why their child cannot attend school / participate in online learning for that day.
This can be advised in one of the following ways:
When reporting absences, parents/guardians should state the student's:
- Name and ID number (as it appears on their Student ID Card)
- Date of absence
- Reason for absence
- Expected duration
Learning at Home Ways of Working
The IT team is here to assist State High students with any account or password issues or questions. Students can contact us by using the email address email@example.com. We are working as quickly as we can to get through all of the requests coming in and will respond to each and every request.
If a student is having issues accessing a link or accessing the StudentNet website, please direct them to the StudentNet homepage by using the link below.
It would be a great idea for students to add this to their home screen or bookmark as well for future reference – https://qedu.sharepoint.com/sites/2003_students.
