Our Aspiring Minds program aims to ignite and foster a desire for powerful learning as we push the boundaries of how incoming Year 7 students see themselves as learners. This program engages our Academic Selective Entry students in our ways of learning and provides an opportunity for our prospective students to develop meaningful relationships with peers and our teachers while engaging in high-quality tasks and experiences.

Year 6 conditional enrolment - Aspiring Minds program
‘Conditional enrolment’ requires students to commit to and participate in the Aspiring Minds Program during Year 6.
The Aspiring Minds Program engages students in:
- higher-order, creative and lateral thinking skills and processes
- problem-solving and decision-making
- complexity of challenge
- appropriate degrees of independence and learning to work interdependently.
Students completing the Aspiring Minds Program must maintain a high level of participation and achievement to maintain their ‘conditional enrolment’ status.
During Year 6, ‘conditional enrolment’ students will be asked to provide evidence from their primary school of levels of achievement.
Year 6, Semester 1 reports confirming sustained high standards of commitment, behaviour and academic performance are necessary before the enrolment becomes unconditional.
