Learning Mentor Conversations

In Year 10 ARC, students are currently undertaking a Short Course in Career Development.  Over the coming weeks, students will be engaging in a Learning Mentor and SET (Senior Education and Training) Plan conversation with their ARC teacher. This process asks students to reflect on their performance in Term 1, their intended future pathway, tertiary prerequisites and the subjects in which they are engaging in their Senior phase of learning to help them to achieve their goals. For most students, these conversations are taking place during our Academia, Resilience and Careers (ARC) lessons and will be conducted between the ARC teacher and the student. Parents who were unable to attend the Senior Success Conversations in Week 10 of Term 4 (during Year 9 in 2017) will receive an invitation to attend an interview with your child.

Additional details and resources regarding this process can be accessed in the students' ARC iTunesU course. The Learning Mentor Information.pdf has been presented to our students.
