The Australian Intermediate Mathematical Olympiad is a four-hour competition run by the Australian Maths Trust, designed to challenge students from Year 7 to Year 10 in mathematics. Our students sat the competition at school on Thursday 10 September 2020. This year, State High students accounted for 5 per cent of the students who sat the AIMO nationwide.
This year, Sam Meredith (Year 10) achieved a perfect score, earning a Prize Certificate, and Eunsu Choi (Year 9) received a Certificate of High Distinction.
State High's results are as follows:
