'Conditional enrolment' requires students to commit to and participate in the Aspiring Minds program during Year 6.
The Aspiring Minds program engages students in:
- higher-order, creative and lateral thinking skills and processes
- problem-solving and decision-making
- complexity of challenge
appropriate degrees of independence and learning to work interdependently.
Students completing the Aspiring Minds Program must maintain a high level of participation and achievement to maintain their 'conditional enrolment' status.
During Year 6, students who have been offered conditional enrolment will be asked to provide evidence of their primary school levels of achievement.
Year 6, semester 1 reports confirming sustained high standards of commitment, behaviour and academic performance are necessary before the enrolment becomes unconditional.
View the Aspiring Minds page on the school website for further information on the Aspiring Minds program.
