At Brisbane State High School, we believe it is important for students to make informed decisions when selecting their subjects. Students are more likely to achieve their personal best when they maintain a consistent course of study in subjects that they find interesting, and see value in.
Our Curriculum Showcase on Wednesday 31 July (Week 4) from 4:30pm – 6:30pm is an opportunity for students, parents and guardians to talk with staff, view examples of subject specific learning activities and develop a deeper understanding of the subjects that are on offer.
Tertiary Education providers will be in attendance to answer questions about university and vocational study options. Drop-in information sessions will be running throughout the evening and a range of BSHS Student Support staff will be available to speak with.
Please engage with the resources available via the links below prior to the Curriculum Showcase evening so that you can ask targeted questions relating to your child's desired pathway and subject decisions.
The Curriculum Showcase will take place on the Merivale Street Campus. Please refer to the Schedule and Map (PDF, 730KB).
Please enter via Gate M7 on Cordelia Street or Gate M3 on Merivale Street.
Refreshments and food will be available to purchase from the Canteen.
