Congratulations to our Senior teams who won first, second and third place in the first round of the 2019 Australian Computational and Linguistics Olympiad (OzCLO). In this competition, students participate in teams of four to analyse and solve problems in little known, dead and symbolic languages.
Only three Queensland Senior teams were selected to enter the National Round this year, all from State High. The National Round will be held this afternoon at Griffith University, South Bank Campus. We wish good luck and good thinking to all of our students.
State High Senior team who won first place in the first round of 2019 OzCLO – Year 12 students Michaela Egan, Madeleine Orr, Joah Nelson and Michaela Cheong. This team participated in the National Finals in 2017 and were the highest achieving Junior team in Queensland.
