On Saturday 11 May, 10 teams representing State High entered the Queensland Regional Titration Competition held at The University of Queensland. Approximately 60 teams from South East Queensland competed and Brisbane State High had teams achieve first, second, third and fifth place. These four teams, comprising Year 11 and 12 Chemistry students, progressed to the National Competition which took place on Saturday 31 August.
In the National Competition, the team which comprised Francesca, Jack Li and Jomin Menoy achieved an 'Excellence Standard' result due to their high level of accuracy and precision. This result will lead to a national ranking for the team; an outstanding achievement.
