Apps List - 2020
The use of web-based educational resources has risen steadily over the last decade and they are increasingly being used by teachers across Queensland to improve student learning outcomes.
At Brisbane State High, we wish to utilise third party, web-based service providers to aid student learning. A full list of third party, web-based service providers currently in use is available via Third Party, Web-Based Service Providers (PDF, 169 KB).
Parents/guardians provide consent relating to the list of providers included in the school's Digital Learning Expectations & Network User Policy (Form F), upon acceptance of an enrolment offer. The school may add to the list of providers at any time, therefore, the list is kept up to date and available for review via the link above.
Students are able to order their digital resources and hard copy texts (for English and Languages) using the process below. Please note that orders for stationary can no longer be purchased using the link below. If you are a new student, please use the PDFs and purchase the stationary from other local providers.
A cost of $12.95 will apply for the delivery of hardcopy texts.
Once you have placed your order with OfficeMax Winc, it may take up to 7 days for you to receive access the digital texts as they need to be sourced by the publisher and provisioned to the student's OMX eBook Reader account. Students will receive an email via their school email address that will provide details on how to view the texts, however this will not include an activation code.
The digital texts will be provisioned into the OMX eBook Reader App, which can be downloaded from the App store here.
Students should use their full Education Queensland email address, then sign in with the Microsoft 365 option. Once logged into the app, students will be able to access all their digital texts.
