GPS Swimming is from Friday 2 March until Friday 2 March.
QGSSSA Swimming is from Friday 2 March until Wednesday 7 March.
Parents are required to complete the online registration and consent for their child via the school website.
Please complete the online web form including each sport that your child may undertake for the year. The web form generates a school consent form which is to be completed, signed and placed in the tray on the counter in the Extra-Curricular Office in room D101.
Swimming is using a smartphone app as the main means of communication between coaching staff, swimmers and parents.
Team App keeps member contact details private and no members can communicate with each other through the app.

Swimmer must pay an annual levy for buses to some meets, training equipment, coach apparel, administration costs, coach gifts, QGSSSA/GPS afternoon tea and trophies.
Boys - $90
Girls - $75
The Brisbane State High School Interhouse Carnival and spectating at GPS and QGSSSA. Championships are official events counted towards minimum pocket requirements.
Tuesday morning (Year 7, 8, 9) compulsory
7:00am – 8:15am
Wednesday morning (all year levels, non-compulsory)
Thursday morning ( Year 10, 11, 12) compulsory
A charter bus will transport swimmers and staff to and from the camp departing and returning to Edmondstone Street school gate. For information about the Year 7 to 12 boys and girls swimming camp held at the Runaway Bay Super Sports Centre before the commencement of the school year, please contact the Extra-Curricular Office on (07) 3291 4235 between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
Boys – A bus will be provided for the Nudgee College Pool and Brisbane Aquatic Centre for meets as well as the QGSSSA Championships. Transport to and from all other invitational meets within Brisbane is the responsibility of parents.
Girls – Non-return xharter buses will be provided to St Peters Lutheran College, Valley Pool, Toowoomba Grammar Meet at Chandler pool, GPS Championships as well as the QGSSSA Championships. A return charter bus will take swimmers to and from Moreton Bay College. Transport to and from all other meets within Brisbane is the responsibility of parents.
Swimmers must wear the school swimwear and cap, available from the Uniform Shop:
All swimmers should wear their swimming shirt to each meet.
Swimming is run entirely by volunteers. To help with set up, training, BBQs or coaching, please contact the Master-in-Charge
A combined end of season presentation dinner is held for Boys and Girls Swimming. Details regarding confirmed venue and ticket availability will be advised once the season begins. Tickets are sold at the B Block Finance Counter and must be purchased by the closing date to enable catering numbers to be finalised. Once ticket sales are closed no further tickets will be available for purchase.
