The Rugby season is from Saturday 15 July to Saturday 9 September.
All students are to arrive at the games in full school uniform (blue shirt, grey shorts, grey socks and BSHS jumper or blazer) with the exception of the First XV players, who are to wear the formal school uniform.
Players are required to wear their blue and maroon BSHS jersey ($65), blue rugby shorts ($35), maroon BSHS socks ($10), mouth guard, boots and headgear—optional.
Prices are for products available from the school uniform shop.
Players are required to pay an annual levy of $140 (2016) for buses to games outside Brisbane, equipment, administration costs, coach apparel, referee expenses and trophies. All prior levies are required to be finalised before commencing the 2017 season. Please contact B Block Student Counter to make arrangements.

Transport to all games in Brisbane is the responsibility of the parents—buses are provided to all games outside Brisbane.
We are using a smartphone app to facilitate easier communication between coaching staff, players and parents. TeamApp is designed for use on smartphones (android and iPhone), iPads and iPods, and can also be viewed online. It is free to download and does not incur a membership fee.
TeamApp keeps member contact details private and students cannot communicate with each other through the app.

Students must attend 75% of training sessions to be eligible for a pocket. Coaches must be informed of missed sessions.
All teams will train on Thursdays at Fursden
Road Playing Fields, Carina.
Please note all students must change back into their blue school uniforms
before returning home, even if being picked up from a training venue.
Buses depart BSHS, Ernest Street at 3.00pm on training days and return at approximately 5.45pm. Alternatively, parents are able to collect students from Fursden Road at 5.15pm. Students are to leave Fursden Road in school uniform.

An end of season dinner will be held to celebrate individual and team achievements.
