The QGSSSA and GPS Cross Country season begins in February for training. The season finishes with the GPS Championships on Wednesday 25 May.
Cross country singlets for both boys and girls can be purchased from the Uniform Shop.
Students may choose between the unisex school shorts or ‘taslon’ cross country shorts. Girls may choose to wear BSHS bike pants.
Students are required to complete the school online registration form
Students are required to pay an annual levy for bus transport, administration costs, coach shirts, coach gifts, fruit trays, some catering during the season, equipment and trophies.

GPS Cross County Championships
Buses will be provided for transport to weekday lead up events. Students are to arrange their own transport from the venues. Note a bus will return from Rivermount, Northgate, Nudgee and Ipswich events. A bus will be provided for both Championships events
Attendance at training is an important component of being a part of the BSHS Cross Country Team. Students must attend a minimum of 15 training sessions to be eligible for a school pocket award. Students are encouraged to train with the group at least two times per week.
We are using a smartphone app to facilitate easier communication between coaching staff, runners and parents. TeamApp is designed for use on smartphones (android and iPhone), iPads and iPods, and can also be viewed online. It is free to download and does not incur a membership fee.
TeamApp keeps member contact details private and students cannot communicate with each other through the app.
