Local Catchment Area

​Brisbane State High School has a strong commitment to students from the local area.

To be eligible, parents must demonstrate the child to be enrolled lives in the defined local catchment map area by providing proof of local residency.

Information session for parents/guardians of students in Year 7 2021 for Local Catchment enrolment:

Before you apply

Please read these documents before starting your application:

​Proof of local residence

For all local catchment enrolment applications, the school requires the provision of sufficient documentary evidence to demonstrate that students seeking to enrol genuinely reside in the catchment. The required documentation will differ depending on whether you are a property owner or a lease holder.

Submitting your application

You will be required to attend a pre-enrolment interview with the Enrolments O​f​fice to submit your completed application.

Appointments are available between 9.00am and 1.00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (excluding school holidays and public holidays).​
