Sarah Lemmon-Warde (Year 10) represented Australia and spent three weeks as a ball girl at The French Open tennis tournament held in Paris. Sarah travelled to France on Friday 24 May and returned home on Saturday 15 June to be a part of this major sporting event.
During the three weeks, ballkids were assessed on court and out of the 270 ballkids, the best 18 were selected to be a ballkid for the Womens and Mens semi-finals as well as do the Womens and Mens finals. Sarah was chosen as one of the top 18 and was on centre court at net for Ashleigh Barty's matches as well as Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Well done, Sarah!
