On Tuesday 24 March, State High held our 2020 Readers Cup school competition in our Library.
More than 90 students from Year 7 and 8 originally nominated to participate, which created a wonderful buzz as students dropped by the Library to loan the set books and meet with their team members.
The competition date had to be brought forward this year, however, 36 students still managed to join in on the fun.
Well done to all of our students who registered and studied the set books. Congratulations to our winning teams:
The winners and runners up have combined to start reading the regional level books and are set to represent State High against other high schools in the Children's Book Council of Australia Readers Cup regional competition towards the end of Term 2.
All the best to our students in their preparation.
