On Wednesday 4 March, 16 teams from State High participated in the Regional Round of the Australian Computational and Linguistics Olympiad (OzCLO). OzCLO is a contest which challenges students in Year 9 – 12 to develop their own strategies for solving problems in fascinating languages.
In the Regional Round, a total of 72 teams across Queensland competed for a chance to progress to the National Round. The top four Senior teams and top two Junior teams in Queensland were selected to compete in the National Round and State High, once again, made it to nationals!

On Wednesday 25 March, these two State High teams undertook the National Round set of brain-teasing problems. This round was held at school this year, instead of Griffith University, to provide a safe environment for the participants. We wait in anticipation to find out which teams will be the national champions this year. Good luck to our students!
