On Friday 10 May, the State High Mooting Team travelled to Bond University to compete in the National High School Mooting Competition. This competition provides students with the opportunity to experience the courtroom environment, apply legal rules to cases and gain insight into the workings of the legal system.
Year 11 students Charlotte Whitaker and George Steel were selected as Honourable Mentions for Advocacy, meaning that the judges were impressed by their ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the law and articulate legal arguments.
The team has progressed through to the National Grand Final which will be held on Saturday 1 June. Good luck to our students!
