Interhouse Athletics Carnival 2019

 12/08/2019

On Wednesday 31 July, we held our annual Interhouse Athletics Carnival at the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre (QSAC). Thank you to all of our students for driving an enormous and extremely well-attended and supported event. The exciting theme for this year's carnival was 'the 80s'.

The huge student turnout on the day was evidenced by the track being almost completely filled with students during the Mad House Dash and having 13 divisions of the Open Boys undertaking 100 metre races. Initial checks indicate that there were a number of outstanding performances, including a number of long-standing records being broken.

Age Champions and House points were named during the Week 4 and Week 5 Assemblies for all age groups. Overall, Glasgow House were convincing winners with consistent numbers and performances across all events. Below are the results for Age Champions and the House points earned at the carnival.
